Hire job-ready candidates, not just resume-ready ones. An automated hiring pipeline for small teams — assess and train people before a manager ever opens the calendar. Built as a private HR install for a growing retail company, where it's in production today.
The idea
Small businesses rarely have a full HR team — one or two people carry the whole hiring load. WorkForce replaces the manual shortlisting grind with a system that does the heavy lifting: post a job, and candidates move through quizzes, role-specific training, and assessments on their own.
The goal isn't just to filter resumes. It's to send managers people who've already learned how your team works and proven they can do the role — before day one.
It started as a build for one company's HR department — not a generic SaaS pitch. They needed hiring off spreadsheets and inboxes. WorkForce gave their HR team a single pipeline: live roles, automated screening, training checkpoints, and a clear handoff to managers when someone was ready to interview.
How it works
Once a job goes live, the system generates quizzes and assessments from the role description and your training library. Candidates sign in, apply, complete a quiz, then watch curated training videos and sit the assessment.
HR sees who passed and assigns them to a manager — who takes it from there with built-in interview scheduling. No chasing spreadsheets, no manual shortlisting.
In production
At the company where WorkForce runs today, HR posts roles once and the system carries the early funnel — applications, quizzes, training modules, and pass/fail gates — without chasing candidates over email or rebuilding shortlists by hand.
Managers see people who cleared the bar, not a pile of resumes. Interview scheduling kicks in after assessment, not before anyone has shown they understand the role. That's the outcome WorkForce was built for: a calmer HR team and candidates who arrive with context.
Built for every role
HR, managers, directors, and training leads each get their own view — only what that role needs. Training managers upload videos, tag them by skill or role, and link them to assessments — so people can arrive already trained on how your team actually works.
Candidates get something different: not a dashboard, but a guided step-by-step path — apply, quiz, train, assess — built mobile-first, because most people open job links on their phone. The process stays clear; they never have to guess what comes next.

Tech & status
Built with React, Vite, and Supabase — with role-based dashboards for HR, managers, candidates, and directors. The public demo is a seeded sandbox rather than an open signup environment.
Deployed and in use as a private install at one company today — not a public SaaS. The demo link is for exploration; if you want this at your company, with your branding, roles, and workflows, custom deploy and new features are on the table.
